Sign up for an independent historical Reddit archive using a simple email and password combination, where the password must be between 12 and 72 UTF-8 bytes. Upon successful registration, the system immediately displays a unique API key on this page before any payment is required. This key is shown only once and is essential for authenticating your future requests. If you need to regenerate the key while signed in, you must confirm your password, and the previous key will be invalidated instantly. The account panel resides directly on this key page.
Google login, wallet connection and wallet-address entry are not required. It provides balance, invoices and password-confirmed key regeneration for redditapihub.com. Accounts, keys and credits are not shared with other domains or with a Reddit OAuth session. Conditional 100 trial credits depend on network-wide anti-abuse eligibility; registration alone does not guarantee them. A paid top-up is not required to create the account or obtain the key.
Configure and replace your credential
Retrieve records with X-API-Key: <key> or Authorization: Bearer <key>; both formats are supported. Use the archive key, not a Reddit OAuth token. Store it in your backend configuration rather than a frontend bundle, public log or browser storage. The website session cookie serves account access separately; it does not replace permission checks in your application.
A signed-in user can regenerate a lost or exposed key by confirming the account password. The previous key becomes invalid immediately, so update applications using it. There is no password-reset or emailed-key feature. The widget saves invoice and user identifiers per hostname in localStorage for invoice recovery, not the raw API key. This browser state is separate from the secret saved in your application.
Purchase credits and start a bounded test
Minimum paid top-up is $50 for 50000 credits, at $1 per 1000 successful retrievals. Paid credits do not expire and there is no subscription. Sign in and create an invoice first. Send its exact amount to its recipient with USDT on TRON TRC20 or USDC on Ethereum mainnet ERC20, then submit the transaction hash for verification of a genuine confirmed matching transfer.
The invoice lasts one hour; settlement time is not guaranteed and provider outages can leave verification pending. Pending does not mean pay again. When credits are available, try the homepage prefix discovery request and inspect community entries before fetching content separately. Each successful retrieval, including empty data, costs one credit. HTTP 401 concerns credentials, 402 the balance and 429 rate limits. Public /v1/status does not validate your key or search availability.
