Service scope and lawful use
Reddit API Hub is an independent historical archive API, not an official Reddit service or a transparent proxy to current Reddit. It does not forward Reddit OAuth sessions, bypass access controls or provide live updates, posting, voting or private messages. Coverage, immutable results, continued availability and complete conversations are not guaranteed. Responses are flat and local grouping depends on available fields. Users must respect applicable law and third-party rights when retrieving, analyzing or redistributing records, distinguishing source material from their own transformations.
Account and key responsibility
Protect your password and API key, including the copies used by your application. Registration uses email and a password of 12–72 UTF-8 bytes, showing the key once immediately before payment. A signed-in user can regenerate it after password confirmation, immediately invalidating the previous key. No emailed-key or password-reset feature is supplied. Accounts, keys and balances apply to redditapihub.com only. Conditional 100 trial credits depend on network-wide anti-abuse eligibility and do not establish a shared balance.
Credits and payment verification
A successful retrieval, including an empty response, costs one credit: $1 per 1000 requests. Minimum paid top-up is $50 for 50000 credits; no subscription applies and paid credits do not expire. Invalid requests do not debit, upstream failures refund reservations, and public status is uncharged. A successful repeat after client response loss costs another credit. Sign in and create an invoice before sending its exact amount using the displayed supported token and network, then submit the transaction hash. Credits require verification of a genuine confirmed matching transfer, without a settlement-time guarantee.
